About This Project

The Cotocon Group was contracted to conduct walk-through energy audit on The Bard Graduate Center (BGC). The audit was performed in accordance with the NYSERDA FlexTech Benchmarking Program, with a goal to provide BGC with enough information to assess and make decisions regarding the implementation of the most appropriate and cost-effective operational and maintenance (O&M) measures.

The audit was performed with full cooperation from building personnel. A facility conditions interview was conducted to acquire critical information including weekly hours of operation, space temperature setpoints, and other building operational details. This was followed by a comprehensive facility walk-through and inspection of major HVAC equipment, controls, lighting systems and building envelope.
